The Municipal Assembly selects the Chairperson of the Municipal Assembly among its members.

The mandate and voting procedures are foreseen by the provisions of the Article 41 of LVL.

The Chairperson of the Municipal Assembly calls for and chairs Assembly meetings.

The manner of calls and managing Assembly meetings is regulated by the Rules of the Work of the Assembly.

The Rules of the Work determines who calls and chairs the meeting of the Municipal Assembly, if the Chairman’s position is unfulfilled or he/she for any reason, does not participate in the meeting.
