Today we marked the Official Launch of the project for the drafting of the Green City Action Plan for Prishtina, an initiative supported by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and funded by the Federal Ministry of Finance Austrian Republic.

Our city has expressed a willingness to take a systematic approach to addressing and handling urban environmental challenges by participating in the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Green Cities Framework.

As part of this Framework, the Municipality of Prishtina will develop a Green City Action Plan (PVQGj), which covers a wide range of urban environmental challenges.

This plan aims to guide our City to identifying, ranking and addressing the most pressing environmental challenges and create a vision for the City's green future.

The city of Prishtina will develop its own GreenCity Action Plan over the next 16 months, assisted by the consulting company Mott MacDonald Limited, UK, supported by a number of local and international consultants.
