Deputy mayor Muhedin Nushi was invited to be a part of the speaking panel at the First Conference where the main subject was "Shaping Digital Society in Kosovo", hosted by Riinvest College.

Among other things he mentioned a few practices implemented by the Municipality of Prishtina, emphasising that the shaping of digital society does not happen overnight; it requires time and work.

As an example of this he explained that since 2014, the Municipality has been taking small steps towards implementing apps, open data platforms and platforms that encourage citizens' participation in decision-making.

5 years of hard and smart work is resulting, not only in completed and functional projects and systems, but also in awards, such as e-Kiosku being awarded one of the best 40 practices in Europe, or Prishtina being chosen the most transparent Capital in Europe alongside Madrid.
